Jammer Time

A conversation from last year while browsing with Brett at Lowe's...
BRETT: Hey, here's some raspberries. Let's plant some bushes this year and see what happens.
CONNIE: Ok, I have never planted raspberries before, but I sure do love that freezer jam.
BRETT and CONNIE go home and happily plant 2 raspberry bushes on the side of their house where a few years ago they had GINORMOUS sunflower plants take over the gas meter.

FAST FORWARD to SUMMER 2011- Raspberry bushes start to grow. BRETT and CONNIE walk by casually one day near the end of JUNE and HOLY COW! they've got raspberries taking over the gas meter.
BY THE END OF JULY they've had several pickings, read up on care of said bushes on the wonderful internet, and are licking their lips in anticipation of yummy, easy freezer jam. BRETT offers to help make the most delicioso jam in the world.

BRETT and CONNIE put away 14 jars of various sizes! Room is cleared on the top door shelf in freezer for the last 5 that were made tonight!

According to the internet, there might be another picking in the fall. We are not for certain as to which variety we have, but we will be ready!
