All about the Boys

This weekend was all about the boys at our house. It was the annual Father and Sons campout with our church. They leave Friday afternoon and come back Saturday morning, usually right before noon time. Other than the fact that they come back filthy, and smelly, and tired, I really don't know what goes on there. Honestly, I thoroughly enjoy the time with my daughters. We went shopping, ate out, got some ice cream, came home to watch a dvd, and painted our little piggies.
But, this year, I sent Brett with the camera. He took lots of pictures (for him, anyway, he took 12), and told me it is the best camping trip he ever goes on. They get there, they set up camp, he gets dinner going, and Ethan and all the boys go off to run and play in a near by gulley. He said he only saw Ethan when it was time to eat, and when it was time to go to sleep. BEST CAMPING TRIP EVER!!!!

JUST GOT TO CAMP
I got home from the store tonight to see this lovely sight. Brett teaching Ethan how to mow the yard. We waited for the grass to be at its highest possible length to do this because Brett wanted Ethan to be able to really see where he mowed. Whatever. Ethan had a good time, but it was some serious work today. We'll see how excited he is this summer!

Maybe next time around I will have pictures of our beautiful daughters!

Good job taking pictures Brett! i sent the camera with Drew and haven't even seen that :) Ethan, way to go on the lawn mowing. It's nice when they get old enough to do it, great job!

Brett is very tricky isn't he, teaching the cute little 8 year old to mow. I love when you send the boys with a camera and you actually get pictures. YIPPY!
