Jump Creek Falls Hike

We hiked in Jump Creek Canyon today. It's not too far from here (about an hour drive) if you pay attention to road signs and the map Brett! We had a few inexperienced, unwilling participants, so this was a great hike to start with. You hike in on a trail and it is seriously less than 1/2 mile. You come right up to this beautiful swimming hole with a waterfall. It was awesome. Since it was super warm today, it was very refreshing. I tried to post a slide show, but need a little help with that.
This are just a few glimpses of our day. What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Next time, we want to do the longer hike to the top of the waterfalls.
On the way back to the car...Mom's trying to push that boulder down the hill. A silly lizard scared her to death just moments before this!!!
Mom knew it was cold; Nat had to find out for herself!
She swam to the waterfall!

Climbing out of the cave!

The gorgeous waterfalls.
