I have a scientist living in my house. Mr. Ethan LOVES science! He asks a ton of questions and his curiosity is EXHAUSTING sometimes. A few weeks ago our school had a book fair, and Ethan requested 50 Science Things to Make & Do and a magic trick kit.

I bought him both books, and he can't put them down.

On page 94 of this lovely book is an experiment called "Hanging Crystals". Each jar contains a baking soda solution. A piece of yarn runs between the jars and a paper clip is attached at each end. That is it! The above picture was about DAY 3 or 4 of the experiment.

This is DAY 8. I don't know when we will take this down! It just keeps growing and growing and growing! He has also done the "Falling Orange" experiment,
and the "Foaming Monster" chemical reaction. Plus he had had various weather stations set up throughout the year!
Jess has to do a HUGE science research project this year,
and she found her experiment in THIS book.

NOW, if we could only get him to make his bed, brush his teeth, and put his bike away!
