A tortilla press in the bakery in Malpica. We toured some colonial villages in the Sierra Madres in Mazatlan. We visited Malpica, a tiny village. The bakery was run in this lady's home. We walked right through her living room to the back of her house. This tortilla press caught my eye.
Ethan's first time. LOVED IT!
that smelled like pee!
We followed a pod of porpoise in Cabo.
Good pic of Los Arcos.
Watching AVATAR on the boat one night.
On the Cabo dock waiting to go snorkeling.
In Mazatlan on our colonial village tour. We visited an adobe brickyard. It was right off the highway and hotter than you know what.

We ventured out on our own in Puerto Vallarta and enjoyed walking to the beach.
Jess in her cruise snuggie!
The kiln is in the background.
Two cute girls I saw on the boat. Right before take off.
And, again, with the Queen Mary in the background. The Queen Mary was an actual ship. It is now anchored and had some other stuff done to it and is a hotel in the Long Beach Dock.
Right before taking off.
I took my family to Los Muertos Beach (yes, that is the name of the beach) in Puerto Vallarta. The waves knocked us down, and the vendors constantly bugged us.
It was as authentic as could be.
The tile maker in Malpica. He had his shop right on the side of his house. Beautiful floor tiles. We brought home 2 of them. I wanted them all....
Outside the bakery.
The fam in Cabo. This might make a cute Christmas card picture!
Our waiter was from Bali. He made Ethan this traditional Indonesian hat every night from his napkin. The boys in his country wear them constantly.
Brett and Ethan at Los Muertos Beach. Notice how Brett won't brave the water to save his son. Now, I get why it's called Los Muertos.
Leaving Puerto Vallarta at 10pm. Looks like we have enough life boats.
Ethan asleep on the catamarran in Cabo. Yep, he's right on the edge of the boat.
Ethan in his snuggie made from his sweatshirt. This was one of the cold days on the boat.
I couldn't resist this shot. We had been snorkeling and were coming back into the harbor. Right here we are at Land's End of the Baja California peninsula.
Brett snorkeling. Yes, the water is really that beautiful.
Maybe this is our Christmas card picture!
The boardwalk in Puerto Vallarta is very clean and pretty. It's filled with statues like this one.
The Carnival Splendor.
A street in Malpica.
Brett on the catamarran standing look out for porpoise.
We did a lot of this.
