I woke up at 6:30 this morning to the sound of two beautiful girls getting ready for school. In their bathroom was every hot hair appliance known to man and various bottles of hair concoctions. One was curling; the other was straightening. Both were sleepy. Yes, folks. Today was the first day of school. And, with that, the first day of high school for Jessica!
On the first day, there is always time for pictures! Nat...7th grade.
Jess...9th grade. High school. Volleyball game tonight so she had to dress up. We were outside waiting for her ride.
Ethan. I didn't even recognize this kid today. Up, dressed, (with socks and shoes), breakfast eaten, teeth brushed, ready to go at 8:01am. (The bus comes at 8:39). He got to watch some cartoons.

And, off they go.

what a great looking bunch of school kids - could even call them poster children for clothing ads! Ahhh, the quiet sounds of the first day of school. Hope you survive!
